HARU NO IRO

HARU NO IRO, meaning the colors of spring, is my way of expressing the feeling of spring through texture, color, and layered movement. For me, this work carries the softness of the season, but also its quiet strength, the sense of renewal, growth, and life slowly returning to the surface.

I built this piece through warm coral and peach tones, combined with touches of green, blue, white, and metallic gold. I wanted the painting to feel organic and alive, as if the surface were opening, blooming, and shifting over time. More than describing spring literally, this work reflects the atmosphere of spring as I feel it, gentle, luminous, and full of subtle energy.
